I am able to tutor elementary, middle school, high school reading & writing, English, history, social studies, and general science. I can also assist with test prep ACT/SAT/AP exams. At the collegiate level I can tutor nursing pre-reqs (excluding chemistry),nursing courses, HESI & NCLEX prep. I hold a master of science degree in nursing. I am currently working towards my elementary education certification. I am a passionate lifelong learner who enjoys teaching and guiding others toward success. My goal is to help build your confidence in any academic area you may need help with. I worked as a nurse for many years but am transitioning into education. I have many hours logged substitute teaching. I have worked as a volunteer with OLC reading to kindergarten classes and tutoring students 1:1 to boost reading skills. I volunteered abroad teaching English, geography, and science to students in a Buddhist monastery in Nepal. I excel at exam/test preparation.
